Busy. I’m busy. I’m too busy. I don’t have time to think – hell, I barely have time to sleep. Between work commitments, friend commitments, relationship commitments, and building my own brand, I am left with little time for myself. I’ve gotten into a pattern of trying to make every second add value (work-type value). What does it turn into? Burn out and ineffectiveness, and that is not what anyone wants or needs.
So yes, it’s overdue. The #WomenInAgile session was almost three months ago, but honestly it took about that long to get my bearings back afterward. It was a busy year in preparation for The Changing Face of Agile, Agile 2016 presentations (2), and other conferences, articles, etc. But here I am, and I am so excited…
I’m very excited to announce the #WomenInAgile workshop – The Changing Face of Agile at Agile2016 in Atlanta, GA this summer! This is an event long in the making, started by great women who came before me and hopefully will be continued by other strong women’s voices in the future until the event is no longer needed.
Isn’t the Internet great? It’s a gateway to find information and promote yourself and your business. It’s also a great portal for cyber bullies and trolls to hide behind and unhinge the aforementioned business building. As with everything though, there is never a positive without a negative and it’s really what can be learned and how to move forward.
